Courses customized to meet your needs…
CAD Answers offers a series of technical training courses that advance the technical competence of you engineering work force. Each training course focuses on a specific technical subject and involves learning respective software tools, in addition to basic engineering principles. We provide tutorial style lessons with detailed step-by-step instructions in learning the CAD/CAE/CAM software tools and solving engineering problems. We emphasize on not only how to use the tools, but use them correctly. Through the hands-on exercises, we enable engineers to model and solve engineering problems with confidence in the domain of your applications.
The training courses are offered on-site. Instructor(s) will travel to your place with computers and software installed to provide the training. An adequate meeting room with Internet access and basic video projection are required to carry out the training courses.
Our instructors are experts in CAD/CAE/CAM with Ph.D. degree in Engineering. They have taught in major universities and published books and technical articles in the related fields.
Here is a list of available training courses (click to see course outline in PDF):
CAD and Solid Modeling: (CAD Course Outline): This course enables engineers to become confident in performing CAD and solid modeling tasks using modern computer-aided design (CAD) tools, such as SolidWorks, PTC Creo, or CATIA, from parts to assemblies. Participants will learn basic concept in solid modeling and use of software tools to support general modeling work.
Modeling and Simulation for Aircraft Structural Repair Using Modern Finite Element Analysis Tools (FEA Course Outline): This course enables engineers to become confident in performing all levels of structural analysis using modern finite element analysis tools, from individual components to complete assemblies (FEA Lesson 4 Mesh Refinement).

Mechanical Motion Simulation (Motion Course Outline): This course enables engineers to become confident in performing mechanical motion simulation using modern engineering software tools, such as SolidWorks Motion and PTC Creo Mechanism Design. Participants will learn basic concept in motion and use of software tools to support general motion simulation work.

CNC Machining Simulation (CNC Machining Course Outline): This course enables engineers to become confident in performing CNC machining simulation using modern engineering software tools, such as CAMWorks and Creo Manufacturing. Participants will learn basic concept in NC machining and use of software tools to support general machining simulation work.

Reverse Engineering and Sheet Metal Forming for Aircraft Structural Repair Using Modern Engineering Tools (Reverse Engineering Course Outline): This course enables engineers to become confident in performing all levels of sheet metal forming tasks using modern engineering tools, from reverse engineering, part design, forming simulation, tooling design to manufacturing. Students will learn basic sheet forming mechanics, and be able to use modern engineering tools to convert point cloud into viable engineering models, improve part design, carry out forming simulation, create tooling (die and punch), and perform machining simulation to manufacturing the punch and die that are required for carrying out physical part forming at the shop floor.

3D Printing (3D Printing Course Outline): This course enables engineers to become knowledgeable in 3D printing and confident in performing all levels of printing tasks.
