About CAD Answers

CAD Answers was founded in 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We offer technical support that facilitates your engineering quest through training courses, technical consulting, and engineering software tools. Our expertise includes computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided engineering (CAE), and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), through which advanced technology and tools are employed for the support of product design and cost-effective solutions for the challenging engineering assignments.

The training courses we offer include (a) CAD and solid modeling with industry standard software, such as SolidWorks, PTC Creo, and CATIA; (b) structural analysis using finite element method with SolidWorks Simulation or Creo Structure; (c) mechanical motion with SolidWorks Motion or Creo Mechanism Design; (d) reverse engineering and sheet metal forming simulation with DynaForm; (e) CNC machining simulation with CAMWorks,  or Mastercam; and (f) 3D printing (also called digital manufacturing).

In addition, we offer technical consulting for engineering firms and OEM that value the benefits the advanced computing technology and tools bring to them. Typical consulting projects carried out for engineering firms and OEM include fighter jet pilot extraction tool, oil well blow out preventer, knowledge-based solutions for part design, re-engineering of airplane torque tubes, and drawing conversion for MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) of aging airplanes.

We develop engineering software that is customized to support specific needs, for example, one tool we developed supports the design of safe waterslides in the theme parks.
